By Metro

The Law Center is most easily accessible by Metro. On Metro, take the Red Line to Union Station and exit onto Massachusetts Avenue. Turn right on Massachusetts Avenue and walk three blocks to the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and 2nd Street. Turn left on 2nd Street. The Law Center (McDonough Hall) will be the second building on your left. To reach the Gewirz Student Center, pass McDonough Hall and cross F Street. The Gewirz Student Center is the tall building at the end of the block, on the corner of 2nd and F Streets.

You may also take the Metro to Judiciary Square and walk two blocks on E Street to 2nd Street. After making a left on 2nd Street, the Gewirz Student Center will be on your right at the corner of F and 2nd Streets.

By Car

From Maryland: take the Washington Beltway (I-495/95) to the Baltimore Washington Parkway. Exit South onto the Parkway towards Washington, DC. The Parkway will split at Rt. 295; follow the signs that say "Downtown" not "Rt.295" (you will bear right). The Parkway will end at New York Avenue (also US 50.) Take New York Avenue for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto North Capitol Street. Make a right onto Massachusetts Avenue. Before the next light, bear left onto G Street. At the light, make a left onto New Jersey Avenue and immediately bear right onto First Street. The main Georgetown University Law Center building (McDonough Hall) will be on your right.

From Montgomery County and points west: take the Washington Beltway (I-495) to the George Washington Memorial Parkway towards Washington, DC Follow the Parkway for approximately 9 miles. Exit onto I-395 North and follow directions below (from I-395N in Virginia):

From Virginia: take I-395 (Shirley Highway) North towards Washington, DC. Cross over the 14th Street Bridge. Bear right at the end of the bridge to continue on 395N. Take the D Street/U.S. Senate exit. Continue following signs for 395N. Proceed into the D Street tunnel (stay in far right-hand lane). In tunnel, take D Street exit. Immediately after exiting the tunnel, take a right at stop light onto D Street, NW. Take left at the next light onto 1st Street, NW. Proceed two blocks on 1st Street, NW. The Law Center will be on your left.

By Train

Two suburban rail lines arrive and depart from Union Station, which is two blocks from the Law Center. These can serve as an alternative to the Metro or driving. The Maryland Rail Commuter (MARC Train) can be reached at 1-800-325-7245 or on the web at http://www.mtamaryland.com.
