LEAP Membership & Benefits Eligible LEAP members include local, national and global law firms, corporate and association legal counsels, legal organizations and associations, and individual lawyers.

- Member - $5,000 - $9,999
- Supporter - $10,000 - $14,999
- Sustainer - $15,000- $24,999
- Leader - $25,000 - $49,000
- Champion - $50,000 and up
LEAP Benefits
- Community Engagement - LEAP members play a vital role in helping to fight homelessness in their local community and other communities across the nation.
- Pro Bono Opportunities - LEAP members are notified on a priority basis through Pro Bono Alerts of significant pro bono projects that address homelessness issues including civil rights violations, income disparity, domestic violence, denial of children's education, and housing discrimination.
- Publicity - LEAP members receive recognition on all NLCHP marketing materials; LEAP membership by level is highlighted on our website, newsletter and annual report.
- Networking and Events - LEAP members have the opportunity to network with each other, as well as with the legal community. Summer associates and all attorneys at LEAP firms are invited to events to network and learn about how attorneys can participate in the fight to end homelessness and poverty.
- Regular Updates - LEAP members receive regular updates on legal issues affecting homeless individuals and families.
- Tax Deductions - LEAP members contributions to NLCHP are fully tax-deductible.
LEAP Membership Expectations
- Make an annual charitable contribution to NLCHP. Each firm or individual makes an annual charitable membership contribution of at least $5,000. The first contribution must be made within the first quarter of membership to LEAP. Return of completed membership form, including name of attorney who will serve as LEAP representative, to NLCHP is required.
- Events. LEAP representatives should attend LEAP events if their schedule permits, or encourage other members of their firm to attend. LEAP members, on occasion, may be asked to host or speak at LEAP events.
- Lend Name. LEAP members lend their name to LEAP stationery and event marketing.
