The Protecting Tenants at Foreclosure Act
This act provides legal rights to tenants in foreclosed properties. Before this act, tenants rights were governed by states and tenants often had very little time after foreclosure to remain in their housing.

This new bill requires property owners to given tenants 90 days to vacate after giving notice. The new owner of the foreclosed property must also allow the tenant to remain in the property until the end of his/her lease.
