US Government Report to the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination in Housing

April 2007

This analysis collects statements made by the U.S. government to the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, as part of its treaty obligations under the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.  Each statement is preceded by a framing question, and followed by an initial critique or questions for further analysis in bold.  The full report is available at http://www.state.gov/g/drl/rls/cerd_report/.

To get involved with providing more in depth analysis of the report, or organizing public education and outreach around the report, join the Housing and Homelessness Working Group by contacting Eric Tars, Human Rights Staff Attorney at the National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty.
