Statement to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee

on the Department of Housing and Urban Development

On March 11, 2008, NLCHP joined with the National Housing Law Project, Legal Momentum, the National Network to End Domestic Violence, and the American Civil Liberties Union to submit a statement to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.

The statement outlines HUD's failure to enforce housing provisions in the Violence Against Women Act of 2005 and asks Congress to push HUD to comply with the Act.
