Access to Education for Homeless Children

Children who are forced to move due to their families' foreclosure or eviction may be able to stay in the same school and access needed support services.  This brochure describes some of the rights for these students and provides useful contact numbers.  The version posted on this site includes information for Maryland counties, but users may insert appropriate contact information for their own jurisdictions and distribute these locally.  Please contact NLCHP for assistance finding your local homeless liaison contacts.
