How Lawyers Can Help
Legal Partnerships to Ensure School Access and Success for Homeless Children & Youth
Attorneys across the country have worked in their communities to increase the educational opportunities of children and youth experiencing homelessness. Whether forming a project dedicated to homelessness, incorporating education advocacy into existing projects, or simply serving as a resource, these attorneys have built powerful partnerships. This document suggests specific ways attorneys can become involved, including examples of law firms, legal aid offices, and other legal advocates who have made a difference in the lives of homeless children and youth in their communities.
