Facts on Homelessness, Housing, and Violence Against Women

Violence against women is a leading cause of homelessness.  Understanding the connections between homelessness and violence against women is important to identify solutions to homelessness for domestic violence survivors and their families.  This document contains important statistics showing the connection between homelessness and domestic violence, the discrimination that domestic violence survivors experience in finding new housing, and the lack of affordable housing and housing assistance for survivors.
