Congressional Field Hearing on the Right to Housing

Testimony

NLCHP has been working with Representative Waters' office for many months to hold field hearings on the crisis in affordable housing and the resulting homelessness, together with our national and local partners as part of the Campaign to Restore National Housing Rights.

This testimony, submitted for the hearing on March 28, cites the increasing crisis of homelessness in the U.S., our nation's commitment to upholding the right to housing, and makes recommendations for addressing the crisis.
