Letter to Congress on Housing Budget Cuts
Part of the Homeless Advocates Group's Letter-a-Day Campaign
The National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty and other organizational members of the Homeless Advocates Group recently sent a series of letters to Congress detailing the impact on overall homelessness and specific homeless populations that would be felt if Congress carries through with proposed cuts to HUD affordable housing and homelessness programs. The Law Center's letter focused on the need to provide funding focused on individuals and families losing their housing due to foreclosure.
