NLCHP filed an amicus brief with the U.S. Court of Appeals in a lawsuit challenging the United States Postal Service (USPS) for refusing to provide homeless people with free Post Office (PO) Boxes.

Federal law requires USPS to provide a free PO Box to anyone who cannot receive carrier delivery service.  However, the agency interpreted the law to exclude homeless people.
