The food stamp program has been a vital safety net for homeless and low-income individuals.  However, national studies have shown that the program is not reaching many homeless people.  Less than half of the homeless population receives food stamps although most are likely eligible.

This easy-to-read booklet explains who is eligible for food stamps, how to receive them, and how to use them.
